Located in the heart of Bangkok and now in Tokyo's metropolis, The Marketing Department (TMD) was founded by branding and communications specialists Kirk J. Bentham and Jeff Williams.

Bentham began his executive marketing career as a music industry professional working in Canada and the US, and since 2000 has directed the marketing efforts of several international Thailand-based companies, including Thaigem.com, East West Siam and Asian Oasis - Mythical Journeys.

A co-founder of TMD, Jeff Williams started Studio 88, a London design firm relocated to Bangkok. He is an award winning illustrator and designer skilled at creating unique identities and powerful visuals that memorably communicate brand image, attitude and values.

TMD was borne from the vision of creating a company that can handle all aspects of marketing: from brand strategies and roll-out, design and creative to public relations, advertising and special events - all done in-house using one team of specialists with a unified understanding of the client's brand and objectives.
